Charles “C.A.” McGough

Mr. Charles Alonza “C.A.” McGough, 86, of Bridgeboro died Wednesday August 22, 2018 at Lee County Health Care.

The funeral service was held at 3:00 PM on Saturday August 25, 2018 at Bridgeboro Baptist Church with interment followed in the Kimball Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby J. Brown will officiated.

Mr. McGough was born on March 5, 1932 in Vienna, GA, to the late Ernest Morris and Gladys Lucille Blankenship McGough. He had lived in Bridgeboro most of his life and retired from Coats and Clark. Mr. McGough was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Bridgeboro Baptist Church. Mr. McGough enjoyed golf, and watching the Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include his son, Steve McGough (Tammy) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Ryan McGough (Misty) of Sylvester, and Joni Jolley (Walt) of Sumner; great grandchildren, Ryder, Carey and Chole Jolley and Chase McGough and Austin McGough; brother, Tally McGough of Poulan; sisters, Nell M. New of Mobile, Al, Joann M. Layton of Reynoldsburg, OH and Lucy E. New of Charleston, SC and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Mr. McGough was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Littleton McGough on December 12, 2013, a brother, Bobby McGough, and a sister, Catherine M. Allen.

Pallbearers for the service included,Dusty Mauldin, Bobby Littleton, Chris Littleton, Jason Littleton, Jeff Littleton, and Wayne Bartley.
