Annie Ruth Culpepper

Mrs. Annie Ruth Spradley Culpepper, 76, of Sylvester, died on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Pruitt Health Sylvester.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Shingler Cemetery. The  Rev. Chuck Knight, Rev. Ben Reeves and Mr. Bill Piland officiated.

Mrs. Culpepper was born on April 17, 1942 in Worth County to the late Otha and Mary Elizabeth Hickman Spradley.  She had lived in Worth County all of her life and was retired from the Marine Corps Logistics Base as the maintenance director. She enjoyed sewing, painting, and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Culpepper was a member of the Poulan Methodist  Church.

Survivors include her sons, Danny Culpepper and David Culpepper (Renee’) all of Sylvester; daughter-In-law, Wanda Culpepper of Poulan; grandchildren, Bo Culpepper (Kassie),  Kimberly Culpepper, Jessica Culpepper Milo (Clint), Holly Culpepper West (T.J.), Darien Culpepper, Dylan Culpepper, Amy Culpepper; great grandchildren, John Michael Culpepper III, Colby Allen West, and Elizabeth Ruth West; sisters, Mary Lopez of Poulan, Sharon Spradley of Oregon, Jo Ann Williamson of TyTy, Linda Faye Clements of Nashville, GA;  brothers, Floyd Spradley of Scooterville and Eddie Spradley of Albany.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Culpepper was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Culpepper on May 12, 2012 and a son, Michael Culpepper on July 4, 1998.

Pallbearers for the service included, Brett Culpepper, Ben Culpepper, Matt Culpepper, Jack Bass, Earl Berry, and Wade Williamson.
