William “Junior” Giles

Mr. William “Junior” Giles, 57 of Ashburn, died on Friday, January 4, 2019 at his residence.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Monday January 7, 2019 at Banks Funeral Home interment followed in the Wright’s Chapel Cemetery.  The Rev. Danny Ray officiated. 

Mr. Giles was born on November 18, 1961 in Tifton, GA to the late William Warren and Frances Booth Giles Sr. He had lived in Ashburn for the past 16 years. Mr. Giles owned and operated Giles Towing and Recovery for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, racing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Giles of Ashburn; children, Will Giles (Barbara) of Ashburn, Nicole Turner (Brinkley) of Ashburn and Michelle Broadaway (Michael) of Hawkinsville; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Rick Fraley of Kansas and James Fraley of Worth County.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Giles was preceded in death by his grandson, Warren William Giles; brother, Mickey Williams Sr. and a sister, Victoria Nipper.
