Charlotte Baggett

Mrs. Charlotte S. Baggett, 78 of Sylvester died on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel interment followed in the Baggett Family Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Johnson officiated.

Mrs. Baggett was born on January 14, 1941 in Oklahoma, to the late Benjamin and Veda Mae Lawson Stewart. Since 1975, she lived in Worth County and was a homemaker enjoying quilting, gardening, and camping. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Baggett attended Unity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her childern, Brian Baggett (Lisa), Janie Johnson (Kevin), all of Sylvester; grandchildren; Scott Ferguson (Gina), Amy Ferguson, Eric Ferguson, Brianne Heape (Justin), Bethany McVay (Mike), Brian Baggett Jr., Brandon Nutt (Victoria) and Kellie Nutt; 15 great grandchildren; siblings, A.D. Stewart, Martha Wager (Roy), John Stewart (Noreta), Wanda Bailey (Raymond), Rudy Stewart (Marlene); brother-in-law, Earl Baggett; sisters-in-law, Delores Smith, Betty Suber and Diane Salisbury, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baggett was preceded in death by her husband, Alton R. Baggett on March 17, 2016 and a daughter, Janet B. Bryant on July 16, 2006.
