Brian “B.T.” Roberts

Mr. Brian “B.T.” Roberts, 58, of Sylvester, died on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Phoebe Worth Medical Center.

The funeral service was at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel, interment followed in the Providence Cemetery. The Rev. Jason Jones officiated. 

Mr. Roberts was born on December 1, 1960 in Sylvester, GA., to Bobby Thomas and Jane Ginn Roberts. He had lived in Worth County all of his life and was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation. Mr. Roberts loved racing and was part of Roberts Performance Motorsports as the Engine Builder and Crew Chief. He enjoyed gardening and would give away what he grew to anyone in need, but most of all he loved spending  time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Anetia Roberts of Sylvester; sons, Brett Roberts (Ashley) of Sylvester, Jake Roberts (Morgan) of Lake Park, GA; grandchildren, Brennan Roberts, Lorelai Roberts, Jessa Roberts, Carson Roberts and Christian Roberts; mother, Jane Ginn Roberts of Sylvester; brothers, Randy Roberts of Leesburg, Jon Roberts of Columbus; sisters, Lisa Houser (Jerry) of Cordele, Paula Bell of Leesburg; And a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Thomas Roberts and a brother, Ronnie Roberts.
