Ann Mathis Littleton

CrossMrs. Ann Mathis Littleton, 73, of Bridgeboro died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her residence.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Kimball Cemetery. Dr. David Benton officiated.

Mrs. Littleton was born in Mitchell County on November 25, 1941 to the late James Robert and Eula Lorene Ragan Mathis. She had lived in Bridgeboro since 1965. Mrs. Littleton was a mother and homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and genealogy. She was a member of the Bridgeboro Volunteer Fire Department and the Bridgeboro Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim L. McCrary (Robin) of Bridgeboro; son, Gregory L. Littleton of Bridgeboro; grandchildren, Gregory L. Littleton II (Amber) and Jennifer Sheler (David); great grandchildren, Marissa McGrath, Dayna McGrath, Nikkole Sheler, Alexander McGrath, Austin Sheler and Blythe McGrath; and a sister, Barbara Gaskins.

Pallbearers included R.C. Richardson, Donnie Key, Woody York, Robin McCrary, Gregory L. Littleton II, and Chris Littleton.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Littleton was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Littleton on May 21, 1997; 2 great grandchildren, Haley McIntyre and Corban Sheler; a brother, Clyde Mathis and a sister, Lillian Cochran.
