Barbara Jean Hatcher Pollock

Barbara Jean Hatcher Pollock, 67, of Lester Community, died Monday, April 01, 2013 at Sylvester Health Care in Sylvester.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 5 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Ricky Griner and Rev. Charles Daniels will officiate.
Born February 3, 1946 in Mitchell County, Mrs. Pollock was the daughter of the late Jacob I. “Jake” Hatcher, Sr. and Ruby Lee Cates Hatcher.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and active member of the church choir for many years. She retired as Safety Coordinator from Golden Peanut Company. Mrs. Pollock was preceded in death by two brothers, C. T.
Hatcher and Scotty Hatcher.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip Glenn Pollock of Lester Community; three sons, Steven Glenn Pollock and wife, Ethel Mae, of Jasper, Judson Maurice Pollock and wife, Susan, of Lester Community, and Adam Wade Pollock and wife, Mandy, of Jenkinsburg; three brothers, J.I. Hatcher of Pebble City, Ronnie Hatcher of Sale City, and Julius Hatcher of Cotton; four sisters,
Edith Fuhr of Smyrna, Sara Wiggins of Albany, Diane Deariso of Albany, and Margaret Hatcher of Lester Community; and 10 grandchildren, Joseph Somahkawahho, Ryan Wolfe, Ariel Hendrix, Lukaas Hendrix, Savannah Morris, Jacob Pollock, Caleb Pollock, Aaron Pollock, Andrew Pollock, and Courtney Pollock.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, April 4 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home Camilla.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, c/o Gospel Project, 775 Pleasant Grove Rd., Albany, GA 31705 or Gideon’s Mitchell-Baker Camp, P. O. Box 49, Camilla, GA 31730.
