Betty Stripling

Mrs. Betty Stripling, 70 of Sylvester, died on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Willson Hospice House in Albany.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Moultrie. Interment followed in the Kimball Cemetery. Deacon Brian Rollock officiated. 

Mrs. Stripling was born on January 6, 1949 in Moultrie, GA to the late Edward and Juanita Pope Tulipane. She had lived in Worth County most of her life and was a member of the Moose Lodge 1158 in Moultrie. Mrs. Stripling was a X-Ray Technician for Dr. Pilcher at Albany Orthopedic for many years. She enjoyed fishing, playing slot machines and spending time with her family. Mrs. Stripling was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Moultrie. 

Survivors include her husband, Bruce  Stripling of Sylvester; children, Becky Stripling Tanner (Todd), Bruce “Bubba” Stripling Jr. (Christy), Kristy Gladden (Nick); grandchildren, Trent Hobby, Zack Hobby, Tyler Horne, Sam Gladden, Isabelle and Duke Stripling; sisters, Janie  Tatum (Kenny), Faye Gregory (Junior), Jackie Glass (Steve) and Terri Payne (Mike); Sister-in-law, Debbie Jones (Stacey); and several cousins, nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stripling was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Tulipane; granddaughter, Kari Hobby; in-laws, Hoyt and Doris Stripling.
