Bobby Tison

Bobby W. Tison, 86, of Doles Community, Worth County, GA, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at his home.
His funeral service will be at 1 PM on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 6-8 PM.
Mr. Tison was born in Worth County, and had lived in Worth and Dougherty Counties all of his life. He was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church. He graduated high school in Worth County and was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War with 4 years of service. He was a retired insurance agent for over 30 years. Mr. Tison was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Jameson Tison and Merle Southwell Tison, and his brother, Dr. E. J. Tison.
Mr. Tison is survived by his wife: Ruth S. Tison, Doles Community, 2 children: Brian Tison (Kelley), Ponte Vedra, FL, Julie Tison Johnson, Alma, GA; a brother: Rudolph Tison, Doles Community; 6 grandchildren: Anne Marie Tison, Melissa Medders, Zach Johnson, Jay Tison, Hunter Johnson, Patrick Howell; 4 great grandchildren; many close nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
