Carolyn Whitacre Odom

Mrs. Carolyn Whitacre Odom, 61, of Arabi died Friday June 7, 2013 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday June 10, 2013 at Zion Hope Cemetery in Crisp County.
Mrs. Odom was born on February 25, 1952 to Howard Grant and Mary Joyce White Whitacre in Albany and lived in Worth County all her life. She retired from Coats & Clark after 34 years. Mrs. Odom enjoyed crocheting and crafts and was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Edward Odom (Deborah) of Arabi, Kenny Odom (Kelly) of Aiken, SC; mother, Mary Joyce Whitacre of Arabi; brother, Lanny Whitacre (Marcia) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Orlando and Deanna Rivero and several aunts and uncles.
Mrs. Odom was preceded in death by her father Howard Grant Whitacre.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Banks Funeral Home.
