Carroll “Frankie” Miller

Mr. Carroll  Franklin “Frankie” Miller, 74 of Worth County, died on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Willson Hospice House.

The funeral service was held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Sylvester, interment followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Duncan officiated. 

Mr. Miller was born on January 29, 1945 in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Ivey Acie and Alma Lorene Smith Miller. He had lived in Worth County most of his life and was a veteran having served in the United States Army Reserves. Mr. Miller graduated from the Worth County High School in 1963 and would later go on to earn his Bachelor Degree from Georgia Southwestern. He worked from early childhood in the family business of Miller Brothers Packing Company and would later go on to retire from Early Trucking Company, he was also employed part time with Napa Auto Parts in Sylvester.  Mr. Miller enjoyed hunting, watching sports and reading. 

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Deariso DuPriest Miller of Sylvester; sons, Darin Miller of Sumner, Raymond “Tiddles” DuPriest of Sylvester, Hal DuPriest of Florida; sister, Lynne M. Ginn (David) of Logansville, Ga; grandchildren, Taylor DuPriest, Hannah DuPriest, Corey DuPriest and Casey DuPriest Lewis (Joey); niece, Autumn A. Ginn. He is also survived by the mother of his son Darin, Anne B. Harrell

In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller, was preceded in death by his sons, David Miller, and step son Brad Dupriest and an infant sister on November 28, 1949.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sylvester, P.O.B. 309 Sylvester, Ga. 31791; Pinson Memorial United Methodist Church, P.O.B. 118 Sylvester, Ga. 31791 or to the Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Ln, Albany, Ga. 31707.
