Jerry Ford

Jerry H Ford, of Doerun Ga passed away on April 7, 2019 in Burleson, Tx.

He is survived by Linda his wife of 54 years, his daughters Christina (Doug), Jennifer (Chelle) and his son Stuart (Carrie) as well as 5 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 1 sister. After he left the Army he went to college to become a minister.

Jerry retired from Worth County High School as the Automotive Tech Teacher and also as a Pastor from Emanual Baptist Church in Moultrie. Throughout his years as a teacher he touched many lives. He was part of many weddings, Baptisms and funerals for his members of his congregations.

Jerry liked working on and driving his classic mustang and watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball.

He is preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Myrtle Ford and his brother Lindsey and sisters Janice and Karen.
