Dorothy Taft Price

Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Taft Price, 57, of Sylvester died Wednesday September 25, 2013, at her residence.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday September 27, 2013 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Damascus Church Cemetery. Rev. Keith Lloyd officiated.
Serving as pallbearers were T.J. Price, Chase Price, Chris Powell, John Graddy, John Richards and Glenn “Bubba” Creamer.
Mrs. Price was born on October 8, 1955 in Waycross to the late Leon and Fannie Jane Wilson Taft. She lived in Worth County since 1984 and was retired from Worth County Department of Family and Children Services after 28 years as the office manager.
Survivors include her daughters, April P. Hogan (Preston) of Lee County and  Janalyn Price of Sylvester; son, Glen D. “Bubba” Price, Jr. (Amanda) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Laci and Stone Hogan, Abby, Allyson, Maddie and Kyllie Price; sister, Virginia “Jean” Walden of Waycross; brothers, Roy Taft of Waycross and Jack Taft of Huntsville, AL.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Dale Price, Sr. on July 17, 2005.

Banks Funeral Home in Sylvester was in charge of the arrangements.
