Mr. Ernest Silas Ramey, 58 of Worth County, died on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Banks Funeral Home with full military honors. The Rev. Jerry Etheredge will officiate.
Mr. Ramey was born on August 31, 1960 in Clayton Co, GA to the late Don and Martha Stubblefield Ramey. He had lived in Worth County for the past 22 years and retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant First Class . Following his military career, he retired from Panther Trucking Company. Mr. Ramey was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Sue Ramey of Sylvester; 17 children and numerous grandchildren; brothers, Mark, Carl and Glen Ramey; sister, Linda Layson.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by a host of brothers and sisters.
