Gary Wrinkle

Mr. Gary Wrinkle, 76, of Poulan died Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Willson Hospice House. The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Shingler Cemetery. The Rev. Clinton “Bobby” Fields and Rev. Phillip Lawson officiated.
Mr. Wrinkle was born on September 10, 1941 in Richland, Missouri to the late Wilbur Virgil and Veta Shelton Wrinkle. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  Mr. Wrinkle was retired from Finchers Used Cars as an auto body repairman.  He enjoyed working in his yard and old cars.  Mr. Wrinkle loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was a faithful member of the Poulan Church of God of Prophecy.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell Wrinkle of Poulan; daughter, Tonya Utz (Chris) of Leesburg; grandchildren, Gage Griffin, Banks Griffin, Ty Utz, Sara Beth Utz, Taylor Allen (Derek) and Marissa Utz-Gonzalez (Brandon); 2 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Gary Smith and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Mr. Wrinkle was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Kay Smith. Active pallbearers included Chris Utz, Gage Griffin, Ty Utz, Aaron Smith, Brian Smith and Todd Spence.  Honorary pallbearers included Tommy Marchman, Bob McDaniel, Larry Spence, David Mathews and Rayford Owens.
