Georgia Young Bowman

Mrs. Georgia Young Bowman, 79, of Sylvester died Saturday December 21, 2013 at Sylvester Health Care.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday December 28, 2013 in New Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Warwick, GA.
Mrs. Bowman was born in Worth County near Warwick on November 5, 1934 to the late Zeddock Jackson and Ila Mae Watson Young.  She lived in Worth and Dougherty counties all her life. Mrs. Bowman was a very neat homemaker who enjoyed working in her flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel Thomas Bowman of Sylvester; four sons, Mark Bowman (Debbie) of Sylvester, Edward “Eddie” Bowman (Cindy) of Worth County, Sammy J. Bowman (Carrie) of Doerun and Norman J. Bowman of Lee County; sisters, Mary Brown of Plains and Ruth Blount of Leesburg; grandchildren, Georgie Wood, Danielle Lowther, Nickolas Bowman, Cheyenne Bowman, Samuel W. Bowman and Jonathan Rizer; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Skylar and Jayden Wood, Tripp Lowther, Aiden and Toby Rizer.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by five siblings.
