Jane Ahrensfield Leymeister

Mrs. Jane Ahrensfield Leymeister, 83, of Poulan died Tuesday July 16, 2013 at her residence.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday July 19, 2013 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Poulan Cemetery. Rev. Charles McCardle officiated.
Serving as pallbearers were Shotsie Saunders, Barry Bowen, Stan Crawford, Billy Weaver, Duck Bozeman and Mike Jones.
Mrs. Leymeister was born on December 24, 1929 to the late Elmer and Agnes Hummel Ahrensfield in Orwigsburg, PA. She lived in Sylvester and Poulan since 1959 moving here from Orwigsburg. She retired from the Worth County Board of Education having worked in the lunch room for many years. Mrs. Leymeister was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Mr. and Mrs. Leymeister would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on August 5, 2013. She enjoyed making arts and crafts to give  away.
Survivors include her husband, Richard J. Leymeister of Poulan; daughter, Barbara Ann L. Bozeman (Duck) of Sumner; son, Gary A. Leymeister (Sharon)  of Sylvester; grandchildren, Chris Leymeister (Julia), Kayla Leymeister; great-grandchild, Zane Leymeister; and sisters, Agnes M. Cleary of Schuylkill Haven, PA and Anna M. Collins of Palm Springs.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Leymeister was preceded in death by a son, Randy Scott Leymeister.
