Joni Bozeman

Joni Bozeman, 59, of Ashburn passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her residence.

Joni was born in Worth County to the late Robert Lester Bozeman and Martha Lou Fletcher. She loved to crochet and enjoyed scrapbooking. She loved shopping, especially Christmas shopping. Joni devoted her time to the people of Turner County by volunteering for many activities including the Fireant Festival, the Teen Maze and Relay for Life. She was a lieutenant with the Turner County Sheriff’s Department and a member of Isabella Baptist Church.

She is survived by mother, Martha Lou Hancock of Poulan; daughter, Hope (Ramsey) Brown of Sylvester; sons, Brad (Christi) Calloway of Sylvester and Brent (Tabetha) Calloway of Norman Park; sisters, Cyndee Spurgeon of Sylvester, Linda (Stephen) Westberry of Moultrie, Jacki Hancock of Poulan, Susie (Johnny) Jones of Albany and Kay Hancock of Albany; brother, Michael (Rhonda) Hancock of Sycamore; grandchildren, Amber Johnson, Morgan Calloway, Michael Calloway, Colt Calloway, Tristan Brown, Tucker Brown, Taylor Calloway and Brylee Calloway.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lester Bozeman and the father of her children, Paul Calloway.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday February 1, 2019 at Isabella Baptist Church with interment to follow at Doerun City Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Friday at the church.
