Kevin May

Kevin Michael May, 49, of Tifton passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at his residence. His funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Father Justin Ferguson officiating.

David Giddings, Mike Hall, Roy Cooper, Ray Cooper, Johnny Hillman, and Robert Chatting served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were employees of Superior Machine Works in Sylvester.

Mr. May was born on January 30, 1966 in Woburn, Massachusetts, the son of Joan O’Connell May of Tifton and the late Spencer May. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Annette Griffin. He was employed at Superior Machine Works in Sylvester.

In addition to his mother, Mr. May is survived by his wife, Karen Griffin May of Tifton, two daughters, Haley May and her boyfriend, and Emily May, both of Tifton. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Stephen and Sonya May, Brian and Ashley May, and Matthew May: all of Tifton.

His nephews are Jacob May, Jamie May, Joshua May, and Caleb May. His nieces are Lauren May, Natalie May, Rachel Griffin, and Maggie Griffin. He is also survived by his father-in-law Nelson Griffin, his sister-in-law Teresa Griffin, his brother-in-law Damon Griffin, and his

West Virginia hunting buddies, Rob Vickers, Frank Allen, Roger Griffin, and Paula Solar.

Condolences may be sent to the family at the online guest registry at www.bowen-donaldson.com. Services for the May family were under the care and direction of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
