Mrs. Lillian Langdale Hufstetler 101 of Doerun, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at her daughters residence.
The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Banks Funeral Home interment followed in the Wrights Chapel Cemetery The Rev. Douglas Hatcher officiated.
Mrs. Hufstetler was born on May 28, 1917 in Worth County to the late James Iverson and Nancy Jane Eady Langdale. She had lived in Worth County most of her life. Mrs. Hufsteter was a nurse and farmer who enjoyed raising cows and hogs. She loved doing crossword puzzles. Mrs. Hufstetler was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Joan Stephens (Robert) of Doerun, Sandra Whitman-Burton (Cecil) of Anderson City and Jan Trimmer (Frank) of Albany; grandchildren, Angie Saunders (Mark), Rhonda Salter, Ginger Sledge (Gerald), Lance Smith (Michelle) Scott Strickland, Shaun Strickland, Chris Whitman (Becky), Jeff Whitman, Eric Whitman (Penny), Brian Whitman (Toni); 19 great Grandchildren, 9 Great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hufstetler was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Hufstetler and siblings, Pearl Stephens, May Hufstetler, Arnold Langdale, Vada Ricks, Rachel Mathis, Harvey Langdale, Pete Langdale, Gladys Wills, L. G.Langdale and Jimmy Langdale.
