Patsy Dykes Hudson

Mrs. Patsy Dykes Hudson, 66, of Sylvester died Saturday April 12, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee, FL.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday April 14, 2014 at Northside Baptist Church with interment following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Reverends Richard McNair, Jerry Cooper and Wade Hudson officiated.
Pallbearers included Robert Dykes, Laben Kirk, Larry Hudson, Casey Rouse, Rock Hudson, and Don Gray.
Mrs. Hudson was born on February 23, 1948 in Doles to the late Belton Robert and Mary Connell Dykes. She lived in Sylvester all her life.  Mrs. Hudson was a homemaker who loved to fish and go to yard sales. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for many years. Mrs. Hudson was a member of the Kingdom Seekers Sunday School Class. She was a strong willed fighter who fought a long hard battle over the last two years before God called her to Heaven where she is at rest and suffering no more.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy D. Hudson; sons, Al Hudson (Ginger) and Wade Hudson (Lorraine) of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Bo Hudson, Cole Hudson and Matthew Hudson; brother, Belton R. Dykes, Jr. (Gail) of Cairo and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.

Banks Funeral Home in Sylvester was in charge of the arrangements.
