Mr. Randall G. Whiddon 66, of Sylvester, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service was held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel, interment followed in the Isabella Cemetery. The Rev. Jerome Granade and Rev. Jason Jones officiated.
Mr. Whiddon was born on July 5, 1952 in Tallahassee, FL., to the late Zonnie Lee and Evelyn McDaniel Whiddon. He had lived in Worth County most of his life and was retired from Proctor and Gamble, but was currently employed at XLC Services. He loved cars and driving his Mach 1 Mustang, but most importantly he loved spending time with his friends and family. Mr. Whiddon attended New Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Young Whiddon of Sylvester; children, Stacey Nelms (Benji) of Sylvester, Greg Whiddon (Alicia) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Austin and Abby Nelms, Ethan Whiddon and Phillip Barnes; brother, Ronald Whiddon (Vivian); sisters-in-law, Sue Hammond and Betty Whiddon.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Whiddon was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Whiddon, Raymond Whiddon and Royce Whiddon.
