Vedia Carolyn Etheredge

Mrs. Vedia Carolyn Etheredge, 76, of Albany, formerly of Anderson City, Ga. died Saturday March 2, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday March 6, 2013 at Evergreen Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Kimball Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Barrett officiating.
Mrs. Etheredge was born on March 14, 1936 to the late Cecil West and Emma Martin in Alabama and lived in Anderson City most of her life. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. Mrs. Etheredge was a homemaker and worked with her husband at Etheredge Service Station in Albany.
Survivors include her husband, George W, Etheredge, Sr. of Albany; children, George W. Etheredge, Jr. (Trena) of Anderson City, Jeana E. Blair of Leesburg and Ed Etheredge (Dawn) of Leesburg; grandchildren, Woodfin Etheredge (Summer), Tamara Blair Shrable (Beau), Colt Murphy and Wilder Etheredge; and great-grandchildren, Brock Shrable and Zoey Etheredge.
Serving as pallbearers were Beau Shrable, Charles Jowers, George Hobby, Maurice Hobby, Wayne Etheredge and Woodfin Etheredge.
