Willie H. Braswell

Mr. Willie H. Braswell, 84, of Sylvester GA. died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Phoebe North in Albany.

The funeral service was held at 4:30 PM on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel interment followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Grady Morey and Rev. Jason Jones officiated.

Mr. Braswell was born in Worth County on September 22, 1931 to the late George Bridges and Mary York Braswell. He had lived in Worth County most of his life. Mr. Braswell retired from Ivey Builder’s in 1991 and was co-owner of Audrey’s Country Store. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Korea War.  He enjoyed camping and fishing and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of years, Audrey Green Braswell of Sylvester; son, Stanley Braswell (Rozanne) of Leesburg; daughter, Benita B. Aultman (Chris) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Kevin Braswell, Kristen Fraley (Jimmy), Taylor Jacobs (Lee); great grandchildren, Mason, Ava and Tate Fraley, Lillian Braswell and Rylee Jacobs; sister, Joanne B. Franklin of Sylvester.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Braswell was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Dillian Fraley, and his brothers; Wiley R. Braswell and George W. Braswell.

Serving as pallbearers were, Brian Green, Keith Green, Matt Green, Chase Sumner, Joey Robinson and Mickey Stewart
