Cassie Elizabeth Odom

CrossFuneral services for Cassie Elizabeth Odom, 92, of Warwick will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 at Warwick United Methodist Church with the committal service following in Warwick Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the social hall of the church. Mrs. Odom passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at Crisp Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Dennis Odom. Mrs. Odom was born in Worth County and was the daughter of the late Leon Edgar Cummings and Ruby Ola Partridge Cummings. She was a homemaker and an active member of Warwick United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School Treasurer for 64 years. A devoted worker for 30 years in the Crisp Regional Auxiliary, she was also a member of the Warwick Lions Club and the Order of the Eastern Star #354. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Beth and Rex Bullock of Pitts and Lynn and Bill Acuff of Moultrie; an adopted son and his wife, Donnie and Sarah Watson of Warwick; four grandchildren and their spouses, Mathew and Kara Bullock of Marietta, Rebecca and Shane Henson of Kennesaw, Edward and Beth Acuff of Macon, and Cassie and Rob Thompson of Bonaire; six great-grandchildren, Erickson Bullock and Kinley Bullock of Marietta, Eve Henson and Ellie Henson of Kennesaw, William Acuff of Macon and Callie Thompson of Bonaire; two nieces, Malinda Oliver of Baconton and Brenda Cribbs of Edgewater, FL; and her dear friend, Laurie Vasquez. Mrs. Odom loved all God’s creatures and creation and also leaves behind loving companions, her basset hounds, Prince, Princess and Mullet. She was preceded in death by an infant son, two brothers, Mervin Cummings and Willie Gray Cummings, an infant sister, and her mother and father-in-law, Asa and Ira Middlebrooks.
