Accident Sends Two to the Hospital

A 54-year-old Tifton man has been charged with following too closely after rear-ending an Advanced Disposal trash truck just outside of Ty Ty on Hwy 82 in Worth County. Both the driver of the truck and the Honda Accord were transported to local hospitals for treatment of injuries.

Phoebe employees help raise more than $26,000 for tornado-ravaged hospital in Moore, Oklahoma

More than $26,000 is on its way to Moore, Oklahoma, to aid relief efforts at its tornado-ravaged medical center. Phoebe Putney Health System employees raised approximately $13,000 through donations to the Moore Medical Center fundraiser this summer.
