Sherry Walls

Sherry Adams Walls, 49, of Sylvester, GA died Sunday, September 13, 2015 at her residence. The family received friends on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.at Poulan City Cemetery, Poulan, GA. Rev. Jimmy Albritton and Rev. Sylvia Evans officiated.

Born in Albany, GA, Sherry had resided in Sylvester, GA since 1997. For the past 13 years Sherry worked as a news reporter in Worth County and was known to the whole community as honest and fulfilling her position with the utmost integrity. She was loved by everyone in the community and had many friends. She enjoyed life, music, the Dallas Cowboys, her children, and most of all, the Lord.

To know her was to love her. She was passionate and loving, helping others and was very involved with her local humane society. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a powerful prayer warrior for friends and acquaintances.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, H. Ozell Parker, E. O. Boutwell and Ernest and Lucille Hart.

Survivors include her two sons, Dustin Gene Walls, Albany, GA, John Dalton Walls, Sylvester, GA, a daughter, Tiffany Joyce Walls, Albany, GA, longtime friend and caregiver, Deborah Robinson of Sylvester, GA, parents, Janice and Ray Hart, Waycross, GA and

Raymond (Butch) Adams, Cairo, GA, brother, Scott Adams (Suzy), Camilla, GA, a sister, Ginny Harper (Dewayne), Lee Co., GA, half-brother, Cobb Adams, Crawfordville, FL, half-sister, Joy Santos, Whigham, GA and her beloved grandmother, Sue Boutwell, Camilla,

GA.

Those desiring may make memorials in lieu of flowers to American Cancer Society: Worth County Cancer Relay or Best Friends Humane Society in Worth County Cat Program, 787
