Barbara Fults

Mrs. Barbara Lorraine Fults, 66 of Hahira, died on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Brooks County Hospital.

The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel, interment  followed in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The Rev. Stephen Young officiated.

Mrs. Fults was born on February 23, 1953 in Worth County.  She had lived in Worth County most of her life and was a homemaker and caregiver. Mrs. Fults enjoyed puzzles, flowers, cooking and going to the beach, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Fults of Rochelle, GA; daughters, Angela C. Jones (John) of Hahira, GA, Tina Odom Coker (Corey Bostick) of Moultrie; cousin, Teresa Chason (Ben) of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Corey Douthit, Dillion Douthit, Austin Douthit (Leslie), Joshua Coker , Bailey Coker and Hailey Jones; great grandchildren, Maddie Lynn Neighbors; brother, Dale Bess of LaGrange, GA; sister, Gail Bess of Sylvester.

Mrs. Fults was preceded in death by a sister, Delaine Bess McDowell on November 21, 1990; brothers, Jack Bess and Bob Bess and her grandparents, Ermon and Omie Young.

Pallbearers for the service included Corey Douthit, Dillion Douthit, Austin Douthit, Joshua Coker, Bailey Coker and Buddy Jones.
