Memorial services for Jo Ann Jordan, 71, of Sylvester was held on Thursday May 2 at 11:00 AM at Banks Funeral Home Chapel. The reverend Bobby Jo Brown officiated the service.
She was the daughter of the late HT and Lila Mae Barrett and is survived by her husband Royce, son Clint, brother Neal Barrett (Lila), and sister Betty Hancock.
She was the secretary /business manager at Worth Academy for several years, after which she operated in several capacities at Georgia department of Labor, job placement training her specialty. After retiring from GDOL, she was business manager at Jordan Motor Company, from which she also retired.
Jo loved cooking, playing cards, riding her motorcycle, listening to her son’s band, and watching stock car racing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial and donations may be made to Tifton Hospice.
